Slackel - Hellenic Linux Distribution

Slackel is a Linux Distribution and Live cd developed in Greece by Dimitris Jemos.

Slackel-3.3-mini multilingual with compiz. It is based on slackware 12.0

Slackel-3.3-mini is multilingual (Greek, English, German, Italian, Frensh, Spanish, Portugal, Brazilian, Turkish, Russian)

Compiz window manager (nvidia driver 9639)

Kde-3.5.7, Koffice with greek polytonic support for writing ancient greek documents (To use the greek polytonic must boot in greek)

wine (just open an xterm and type wine application_name)

Module Manager for installing or uninstalling your modules while be on live cd, when they are not in use.

Slackel installer in greek and english (Installation on Hard Disk as normal desktop Linux Distribution. Installation on usb-stick (512 MB). Make bootable usb-stick)

Slackel-3.3-mini is modular so new modules can be added to make it work as server (web, ftp, mail etc), to have educational software to use in schools etc. Slackel-3.3-mini is the base system for the new upcoming releases (server, educational etc)

other software (xchat, kde-admin, amarok, xine)

changes since 3.0 ( add slackel-installer in english, audacity, aMule, wxGTK, Russian language)
