I know Slackel KDE can be booted in several languages using SalixLive's boot loader menu.
but many of them are displayed in English due to lack of KDE locale files. It is regrettable.

It will satisfy the KDE language files, which will be used by other language users.
I think that it is not a big problem to increase ISO size.

You can install kde locale files easily. Install live iso on usb and use a persistent file (for vfat) or for ext3 just boot with persistent without create a persistent file. Install the kde locale file and you are ok.
100 - 200MB maybe more it is a big size. I do not want iso to be too much. No one me including download 2-3 GB iso images.

I know how to add the KDE locale file:

Code: Select all

$ sudo slapt-get -i kde-l10n-ja
ja = japanese (Language 2 code)

The current state is not pleasing for many users,
The above is a hint to solve it.
