Re: Booting Hangs
Thanks! Silly me. Yes it worked again. However, in init 1 glibc-i18n and glibc-profile would not install. Had to go to init 3. Further lxpanel will not open. lxpanel lxpanel: error while loading shared libraries: libfm-gtk.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory I p...

Booting Hangs
I installed Slackel64-7.0-openbox on hard drive. Then I made an upgrade, however, not of the excluded applications like glib*, kernel and when I reboot now I get error: /sbin/fsck: /lib64/lib.so6: version "GLIBC_2.25" not found. Neded by /lib64/lib* And the system hangs. How to resolve? I ...

Upgrading SlackelLive-64
I installed SlackelLive-64-openbox on a USB stick. If I check on upgrades I get about 280 odd files to be upgraded. That would take with my system several hours especially since some of the heavy weights are in the slackel.gr/repo which we know is very slow. Now my question: Does it makes sense to m...

Re: libidn2 Dilemma
Just for the record. I did not link to the previous version of libunistring.
I remember very well seeing libunistring being upgraded. Therefore
I had the latest version and @libunistring.so.0 was not there. For which
reason slapt-get would not open until I made the link.

Re: libidn2 Dilemma
Did install the lib.
slapt-get still complains about lack of libunistring.so.0.
Made a symlink and slapt-get opens.

libidn2 Dilemma
In my Slackel openbox-7.0 I just made an upgrade after which I cannot open slapt-get since library libidn2 is missing. According to some info in this forum libidn2 can be added later with slapt-get -i libidn2. Unfortunately slapt-get does not open w/o this library. Where do I get t...
