Finally slackware team rebuilded the kernel-firmware package. I upgraded the package. It is working fine. Its size was Kb's while in rebuild is now Mb's in size.

I fixed it. The problem was mine. I had to run the script locally to upload the ChangeLog.txt, PACKAGES.TXT etc files to Sourceforge repos.
