djemos, Are there some settings required to get Linux to charge the batteries on a laptop? I am using Slackel OpenBox on a Dell 1525. The system sees the battery, but it does not charge it. I actually have three of these computers. One of them has windows, and I use it to charge the batteries. Slack...

Errors with latest updates
djemos,
The latest batch of updates, around 7-23-16 are failing due to "Failed to download freetype: HTTP response code said error".
Could you please assist with this?
Thanks,
David

Midori will not start after new Slackel installation
djemos,
I like Slackel so much I installed it on my other laptop with SSD. However, Midori would not open from the beginning.
I installed Google-Chrome, and it works. I would like for Midori to work as well. Tried removing, reinstalling and still no Midori.
Thanks for your support.

Re: Package Request for Hard Info Package
djemos,
I actually found it in Gslapt, before I read your response. Thanks very much for all of your help. I am super impressed with this distribution.
It seems very stable and all of the programs have worked so far. Very nice!!!

Package Request for Hard Info Package
djemos,
Could you please add the Hardinfo package to use in Slackel. I am not accustomed to compiling packages, yet.
Thanks,
David

Changing Mouse Cursor to DMZ
djemos, Not sure if this would be considered a bug, but going through the Settings > Customized Look and Feel > Mouse Cursor > DMZ. Select the DMZ cursor theme and click Apply. Even after rebooting, the mouse will default back to the Obsidian cursor theme. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks Much.

Re: How to add panel launch icons on Slackel Openbox
djemos,
Worked great, thanks very much!
On a side note, within that same file, ~/.config/fbpanel/default, at5 line 371, HoursView = 24.
I changed that to 12 to get my panel clock to read in 12 hour time.

How to add panel launch icons on Slackel Openbox
Hello, I just installed the Slackel 64 bit, Openbox system and it seems to be doing very well so far. It is running on a Dell D830, Intel Dual Core, 2 GB CPU, Intel graphics chip. My preferred browser is Google Chrome. I would like to add the Chrome icon and launcher to the panel, next to the Midori...
